eleven eleven

No worries about the last post, my friends. No dinner (or dessert, JI) was even consumed on the island. A trip to the Brazillian Grille was in order for a certain someone who is celebrating getting a *real* big boy job. Three of my favorite boys met me in Hy-town for some delish din, and then said guest artist stopped by to say hi to Harley. No business time, no worries :)

It's really chilly today, and I must say I'm not liking it. I just had to shut the front door where Harley was basking in the sun :( Sorry dude, I'm freeeezing. Plus they're working on the house next door and its starting to get a little loud.

After work tonight I plan to come back to the island and work on some layouts for the wedding scrapbook Melissa and I have been working on. Maybe. Harley will probably have other plans for our evening, and I'm OK with that.

My kitty friend has apparently decided it's time for me to stop blogging because he keeps climbing on top of my laptop, haha. Oh, and Jenn! His morning kisses aren't on my chin but on my ear! He wakes me up my licking and nibbling my ear and then attacking my hair. Oh, kitty...

Harley and I had a visitor last night for dinner :)

Don't worry Jenn, he flushed. Just think ... you'll get to gaze at this gem everytime you use your sink.  You're welcome :)

Photo 029  Who is this lady? Why is she all up in my face with a camera? Why isn't she peeing so I can sit in the sink and drink water? Where is my Momma?!?

I'm quite fond of this feline friend of mine. I've never been a cat person, but he's growing on me :)

Harley was *so* excited when I came home from work/class tonight. We're hanging out now watching 20/20. It's almost time for bed. Peace out.

oh, Harley

Today's day one of my stay with Mr. Shurkus (NOT Jimbo), AKA Kitten, AKA Harley :)

I stopped by to say hello to my furry little friend before heading into the store to finish up kitting for my class. I got harassed by spent quality time with Jayne and Melissa and then came back to cool on Shurk's island with my new bff. I tried to scrap ... but this was as far as I got.

Photo 023  He's lucky he's so cute. I gave up on my crafty adventure and had took a break for dinner. After dinner I took a nice hot shower and settled in for the night. Harley and I curled up and read a little bit of Eric Clapton's autobiography. Now I'm waching House and he's bouncing off the walls ... literally.

"you look like a card"

Halloween is over. Another year of silly little memories and kids in cute costumes on Main Street. Oh, and the occasional obnoxious adult trying to scheme candy too. Best costume(s) of the night go to the family who were all decked out as the characters of the Wizard of Oz. Best quote of the night goes to the mom who was telling her daughter to "fix your hair, you look like Amy Winehouse right now." Awesome.

Jayne, being the most fantastical boss ever, let me borrow a *sweet* costume. I've come to the conclusion that even if Melissa was working and she had the coolest costume EVER, the kids still woulda have been all about me ... as a card. What can I say, I'm pretty amazing. Eighty five percent of the kids that came into the store said "You look like a card!" which was making me laugh a lot. It's the little things really.

Card

I crafted myself a pretty rad headband using the Creative Cafe headband, damask tape, and some teeny tiny playing cards. Full house, baby. Uncle Jesse not included.

Bob the mailman was even in the holiday spirit when he made his daily rounds Friday.

I've decided that since Jenn posted some sneak peeks of her crafty endeavors over on her blog, I'd show off my goods too. Don't worry, there's no "your body is a wonderland" stuff going on in the folowing pictures, just some good old fashion paper crafting ;)

October 29, 2008

It's Wednesday and I have the day off. I'm Jasmin-and-Henna-Fluff-Eaze-ing my hair right now (and it smells fantastic!) and then I'm gonna jump in the shower. Well, not jump .. but you know what I mean. There are cutie pictures from the wedding at Ritz waiting for me to pick them up and scrap them. There is pumpkin coffee brewing at Dunkin Donuts waiting for me to drink it, though I'd like to think that the coffee I will purchase later on will be fresh ;) There is an Old Navy sweater that I JUST purchased, brought home, and washed that is in need of a sweater shaving. I just wanna wearrrr it, but no, it got all fuzztastic. Lame.

Alright, it's time to wash this shizz outta my hair and enjoy a nice hot shower with new LUSH stuff!!! SAC's got his WoW, I've got my Lush. Leave me alone, haha.

conditions are perfect.

Happy Wednesday, yo. I'm off to buy some business socks :)

Dude. Hanson love. I believe I've seen them at *least* two other shows in addition to the dates listed (but their website doesn't list radio station concerts and such and I'm far too lazy to actually go investigate the situation). 11 years. 8 shows. It makes me sad to see the Boston/Providence dates listed that I didn't make it to, but oh well. You may only remember them for MMMBop back in 1997, but they've come a long way since then. They're all married. They all have babies (Taylor's expecting his fourth!). And I'm still in love with them. Saturday was by far the best show I've seen of theirs everrrrr. The setlists were so different all three nights, which was fantastical. I bought a new baby camera Sunday morning after being completely frustrated with my Fujifilm piece o' crap Saturday night. It takes amazing pictures and the video quality ain't so bad either :)

Omgisaac

As I mentioned in the last post, we took the walk on Sunday. It was so cold out but it was so worth it. Everyone that walks gets to choose what cause they want money to be donated towards (I chose education). It was a pretty low key walk compared to the one we went on in April. The last one was definitely more than a mile :)

I'm attempting to upload a video to YouTube but it's taking entirely too long. I'll maybe post it later? Trust me, it's worth the wait.

HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY ZAC HANSON ;)

Is it lame that I'm pretty bummed out that I'm not in Connecticut at the show tonight? Probably. But that's ok.
